A Refined and Sophisticated Fall Wedding Day at Whistle Bear Golf Club
Adrienne and Logan’s modern and sophisticated wedding at The Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario was one of our favourite wedding designs of this season! We met Adrienne last summer as a bridesmaid for one of our incredible ‘23 couples. We couldn’t have been happier; therefore, when she reached out about her own engagement and wedding plans for this year!

With family and friends all over Canada and the U.S., Adrienne and Logan wanted their wedding to feel like a vacation weekend. Their wedding week began with everyone arriving to Toronto and being tourists as A+L toured them around their home city. The festivities continued with a celebratory welcome dinner and finished with their wedding day which felt like a reunion of all the special people in their lives in one room.
The early fall weather couldn’t have been more beautiful with sunny skies and ample natural light for their wedding ceremony in The Whistle Bear Golf Club’s Garden Chapel. As guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Adrienne and Logan headed to the club’s forest for photographs with their wedding party. After finishing up with their couple photos it was time to party!!! We loved how their people came to celebrate!!! It couldn’t have been more fun to see how happy their guests were to celebrate with them. We loved the energy all day long!

Destination Engagement Session in The Canadian Rockies
When your couple asks if it would be possible to arrange an engagement session in the Canadian Rockies, the answer is always ‘a hundred percent YES’!!! We couldn’t have been more excited to spend an unforgettable 72 hours in Banff back in May to photograph our couple, Sarah and Daiken’s engagement photos.

Sarah and Daiken’s life took an exciting turn when Daiken was offered his dream job in Alberta earlier this year. Still planning to fly home for their Niagara golf club wedding in 2023, they thought it would be super memorable to include their new home of Alberta into their love story by arranging to fly Junilo and I out west for their engagement session. We had a one week window still available in our schedule in early May, so we all went to work to make it happen!
Junilo and I were in constant awe of the natural beauty of Canada’s Rocky Mountains as we drove scouting locations for Sarah and Daiken’s engagement photos. It was difficult to narrow down the options of where we would take their photos as there were SO many stunning backdrops! One place we kept going back to was Two Jack Lake which is located about 10 kilometres outside the town of Banff. The landscape, tones and natural beauty fit exactly what Sarah and Daiken had told us they’d like to include in their photos.
We began just as the sun was gently hitting the mountains during the last hours of daylight. We spent the evening exploring, getting to know these two gentle and loving humans and documenting their beautiful love and friendship.
It was an epic two days with these two and we cannot wait for their wedding back here in Ontario in summer 2023!!! xo
A London England Destination Engagement Session
Junilo and I were contacted by Geraldine and André in September 2017 in regards to their 2019 Toronto wedding. The more we got to know each other over email, the more we realized how much the four of us had in common!! They were fellow Torontonians who, just like us, had the unforgettable opportunity to live in Europe. As in the case of Junilo, André followed 'his girl' abroad after Geraldine was accepted to study her Masters of Architecture in London, UK.

They were fellow Torontonians who, just like us, had the unforgettable opportunity to live in Europe. As in the case of Junilo, André followed 'his girl' abroad after Geraldine was accepted to study her Masters of Architecture in London, UK. In addition to their wedding photography, they were really interested in having engagement photos done as well; however, due to the distance they thought that the only way to arrange things was to book a wedding photographer for their Toronto wedding and have a local photographer document their UK story in some of their favourite spots in London. Coincidentally, Junilo and I were in the midst of booking a work trip to Spain for just around the end of the school year which was exactly when Geraldine thought they would like to book their engagement session! After working out the details of timing and logistics we agreed we would incorporate a quick stop in London on our way home from Spain.
Once everything was confirmed, we literally spent months planning their engagement session! We talked about how to incorporate their love of architecture into their photos, Geraldine prepared a walking map of their favourite spots in the city, we worked out timing (to beat the crowds!) and even assisted in styling clothing and colours. We really valued Geraldine's interest in making this an unforgettable experience for the two of them. Her planning and effort really paid off because their session turned out beautifully.
We’re counting the days till their 2019 Toronto summer wedding!
