Chic Black and White Wedding at The Stunning Three Feathers Terrace
Eight years in the making and forever to go. 2024 marked a huge step in Nina and Chris’ longtime relationship and we couldn’t have been happier for them and their families! Their wedding day represented the uniting of two incredibly supportive families whose love for Nina and Chris was so touching to document.
Eight years in the making and forever to go. 2024 marked a huge step in Nina and Chris’ longtime relationship and we couldn’t have been happier for them and their families! Their wedding day represented the uniting of two incredibly supportive families whose love for Nina and Chris was so touching to document.
Nina and Chris’ story began when when Chris moved to Canada to begin his professional hockey career. Nina had no idea that say yes to ice cream with the newest player on her city’s hockey team would lead to a whirlwind of travel and adventure while Chris played hockey in three different countries and two continents! After years of dating long distance, the hockey off season in 2022 was one they never will forget. Chris proposed to Nina while on holiday in the Greek Islands.
Having their immediate family spread all over the U.S. and Canada, they decided that they would plan for a ‘destination wedding’ here in Ontario. They choose the private estate venue, Three Feathers Terrace and had their out of town guests all stay at Friday Harbour Resort. Their week-long celebration started with a mini vacay of golf and dining at Friday Harbour and ended with their celebratory black-tie wedding day at Three Feathers Terrace.
Nina had clear in her mind her wedding day vision. She enlisted the help of The Event Design Co. to execute her chic and modern black and white design. The focus was on making the day a true experience for their guests, including a sketch artist and live music during cocktail hour.
We were so honoured to photograph their wedding day as they celebrated with each other and their fam. The happy tears and joyful embraces made their modern wedding day unforgettable.

Romantic Garden Inspiration for Couple's Three Feathers Terrace Spring Wedding
High school sweethearts, best friends and life partners, Megan and Andrew had waiting a very long time for this day. They knew exactly how they wanted their wedding day to go: a laidback celebration with their families and long-time friends at a private estate.
High school sweethearts, best friends and life partners, Megan and Andrew had waiting a very long time for this day. They knew exactly how they wanted their wedding day to go: a laidback celebration with their families and long-time friends in a private setting. Both being outdoor lovers, they absolutely fell in love with both the natural surroundings and venue options Three Feathers Terrace offers. It was the perfect location for their special wedding day.
Enlisting the help of luxe wedding planner, Claudia Cole Events, they began to plan a romantic spring garden-inspired wedding day. Megan’s vision of colour complimenting the season was carefully woven through the wedding design, including stunning pastel-toned florals by the talented Posh Floral Company and reception decor featuring delicate spring blooms and tones in both the stationery and table design.
Leaving the design, coordination and planning to Claudia Cole Events’ talented team, Megan and Andrew were able to focus 100% on enjoying the day with each other and their fam. From their heartfelt first look to their joyous wedding ceremony and reception, the day was nothing but happy moments for these genuinely kind and deserving people.
We can’t thank these two enough for having us as a small part of their lifelong story!

Modern Romance Meets Timeless Black Tie Style At Ancaster Mill Wedding
We are STILL reliving the memories from this very genuine wedding day from earlier this year! Caitlin and Paul planned the perfect celebration combining a modern and romantic wedding aesthetic with an overall relaxed vibe for their day. They wanted to focus on enjoying the day’s events with their loved ones and very close group of friends.
We are STILL reliving the memories from this very genuine wedding day from earlier this year! Caitlin and Paul planned the perfect celebration combining a modern and romantic wedding aesthetic with an overall relaxed vibe for their day. They wanted to focus on enjoying the day’s events with their loved ones and very close group of friends.
We love how thoughtful they were when planning their day as their families, bridal party and all their guests travelled out of town to celebrate with them. Even as they got ready in the morning, they wanted their friends who were part of their bridal party to be relaxed, comfortable and situated in their accommodations before beginning the day’s events.
Despite a torrential downpour in the morning, the sky miraculously cleared just in time for their wedding ceremony! With the natural surroundings of Ancaster Mill and the sound of Mill Creek in the background, Caitlin and Paul promised their commitment and love in the perfect setting! After their emotive ceremony, it was time to photograph their SUPER fun group of friends/family. Although formal photos are not always everybody’s favourite part of a wedding day, it can be fun with a little help from us ;) The candid moments in between formal photos with a couple’s bridal party and families are always some of our favourites!
One of the funnest parts of the day was Caitlin and Paul’s Photo Dash right after making their entrance! Thanks to TikTok, the trend of dashing from table to table to have a photo with all the guests is becoming more and more popular and we’re all here for it! We love the craziness and very happy photos!
We left Caitlin and Paul’s party with a smile from ear to ear as we reflected on how appreciative we are for couples like C&P. We couldn’t ask for better memories :)
